Al Haktur IT Solutions is seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and securely. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing excellent IT support across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including servers, networks, and workstations.
Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues, ensuring the availability and reliability of IT systems.
Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related queries.
Manage network security, including firewall configurations, VPNs, and data protection protocols to safeguard company data.
Oversee system backups, data recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements regarding IT infrastructure.
Collaborate with various departments to assess IT needs and provide effective solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Implement and manage updates, patches, and upgrades to software and hardware systems.
Support cloud computing services, including data migration, storage, and remote access solutions.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, including network configurations, licenses, and maintenance logs.
Conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance and security.
Manage IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, software implementations, and system integrations.
Research and recommend new technologies to enhance the company’s IT capabilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an IT Engineer or similar role, preferably within the UAE.
Proficiency in network administration, server management, and IT security protocols.
Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), virtualization technologies, and cloud computing platforms.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT service management tools.
Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and security configurations.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, or CompTIA Network+ are an advantage.
